Stefanos Tsitsipas has battled past Karen Khachanov in a decider, to secure himself a semi-final spot at the Rotterdam Open.

The 22-year old Greek started brightly to get a 2-love lead in the opener, but Khachanov bounced back to claim the set 6-4. Tsitsipas tightened up his serve in the 2nd set and rushed to a 6-3 win. Then in the final set, the world No. 6 came within a point of a 1-4 deficit, but clawed back his way by breaking Khachanov at 5-apiece en route to his 9th win in 10 matches this season.

The 2nd-seeded Greek will next play Andrey Rublev also from Russia, for a spot in Sunday's final.
