To Ice Hockey Action, the Nashville Predators have posted their 2nd win in a row by outplaying the Red Wings 2-nothing in Detroit.
Following two goalless periods, Nashville finally broke the tie 5 minutes into the 3rd frame when Filip Forsberg scored on a power play. 4 minutes later, Forsberg supplied a cross-ice pass for Eeli Tolvanen to add a 2nd for the Predators from the left face-off circle.
Pekka Rinne also stopped 24 shots for Nashville for his first shutout since November 2019. The two sides will meet again in Detroit on Thursday.
