Liverpool have left London victorious after beating Spurs 3-1 at Tottenham Stadium.
The Merseyside Reds got on the scoresheet in the first half extra-time, as Roberto Firmino tapped the ball in, after getting a precise pass from Sadio Mane.
Just two minutes after the break, Trent Alexander-Arnold doubled the lead for the guests as he got to a rebound inside the box, and rifled the ball low inside the left post.
Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg pulled one back for Tottenham with firing an unstoppable shot inside the right post in the 49th minute.
But it was Sadio Mane who finished the job as the Senegalese latched on to an inch-perfect cross into the box, and smashed the ball inside the left post.
With the victory, Liverpool have moved up to the 4th in the table with 37 points from 20 fixtures, while Tottenham are 6th with four points less and a game in hand.
