In the National Hockey League, the Maple Leafs have defeated the Edmonton Oilers 4-2 at Scotiabank Arena in Toronto.
Leon Draisaitl put the Oilers in front after netting the puck 6 minutes into the middle frame. But the Maple Leafs clawed their way back and took a 2-1 lead in the same period.
Connor McDavid then scored the equalizer for the visitors just 50 seconds into the final frame. However, Toronto found their rhythm and scored 2 more goals to earn their 4th victory in the North Division.
The Leafs will travel to Calgary to meet the Flames on Sunday, while the Oilers line up against the Jets in Winnipeg on the same day.
