Marco Reus has missed a second-half penalty as Borussia Dortmund were held to a 1-all draw at home by lowly Mainz.
The visitors broke the deadlock in the 57th minute when Levin Öztunalı fired home a stunning strike from 30 yards out.
However, Thomas Meunier pulled Dortmund level in the 73rd minute, scoring his first goal for the club with a low drive into the bottom corner.
Shortly after, Dortmund were awarded a penalty, but captain Marco Reus failed to convert from the spot as Dortmund settled for a draw and remained fourth in the league standings.
