AC Milan have advanced to the Coppa Italia quarter-finals, after eliminating Torino 5-4 on penalties at the San Siro.

After a goalless 120 minutes of play, the match went into a penalty shootout, where Milan’s replacement keeper, Ciprian Tătăruşanu, managed to save a spot kick.

Then, Turkish international Hakan Chalhanoglu slotted the winner. The victory sent the Rossoneri to the last 8, and will meet either city rivals Inter Milan or Fiorentina.

In addition, title-holders Napoli are home to Empoli, and 13-time winners Juventus take on Genoa.
