NBA: Boston Celtics 116-107 Washington Wizards

Over the NBA, the Boston Celtics have edged past the visiting Washington Wizards 116 to 107 at TD Garden.

The hosts took the opening quarter 33 to 28, before routing the Wizards 33 to 19 that led to their 19-point advantage at the intermission. The Wizards re-grouped after the break and won the next 2 quarters, however it was not enough to win the game as they only cut the deficit to 9 points.

With the result, Boston earned their 4th consecutive victory to sit 3rd in the Eastern Conference. Jayson Tatum was the best player for the Celtics as he collected 32 points for his team, while Bradley Beal pocketed 41 points for the Wizards.
