Deadly flooding hits Indonesia's Sumatra Island

Flash floods hit the Indonesian city of Medan in Sumatra island, leaving several dead and hundreds temporarily displaced, according to officials.

Houses have been damaged and cars swept by the flood water after torrential rain in the past few days caused the Sunggal river to overflow.
