Iran has hosted a conference on the recent normalization deals between Israel and two Arab states. The event slammed the deals as a backstabbing of Palestinians and Muslims.

Dead on arrival, this is how delegates at this conference describe any agreement with Israel about Palestine.

Representatives of Palestine's Hamas and the Islamic Jihad were the special guests at this event in Tehran themed with the recent normalization with Israel.

Earlier this month, the United Arab Emirates and Bahrain became the third and fourth Arab states after Egypt and Jordan to publicly announce their diplomatic ties with Israel.

Something which infuriated the Muslim world who described the move as an open betrayal of the Palestinian cause.

Manama and Abu Dhabi's normalization of ties with Tel Aviv was brokered by the US, with a prospect of broader relations between the Arab world and Israel.

However, Palestinians say any agreement between the Arab states and Israel about Palestine is illegitimate, since Palestinians' do not accept any deal with Tel Aviv.

Observers regard the US-brokered alignment with Tel Aviv a smokescreen for both Trump's unpopular policies amid his presidential campaign and Netanyahu's corruption trial at home.

Normalization is widely viewed as Israel's last shot in its bid to legitimize its occupation of Palestine after several failed attempts --- something which experts say will not lead to a seismic shift in regional equations, as the move is merely a revelation of pre-existing covert.
