Over the NBA, the Miami Heat have shocked the Milwaukee Bucks 115 to 100 with an impressive 4th quarter performance to increase their lead to 3-nothing in the Eastern Conference Semifinals Series.
A nightmare scenario for Milwaukee continued to play out as they came up short again in the end, despite leading 87 to 75 by the end of the 3rd quarter. Miami made a 40 to 13 run in the last 12 minutes to seal the victory.
Jimmy Butler was vital for the Heats, finishing the contest with 30 points. For the Bucks, Giannis Antetokounmpo recorded 21 points, 16 rebounds and 9 assists, but the near triple double didn’t matter, as the Bucks are now on the brink of elimination because no team in NBA history has ever come back from a 3-nothing deficit in the postseason.
Game 4 will take place on Sunday. Also in the Western Conference Semifinals, the Rockets posted a 112 to 97 win over the Lakers to take a 1-nothing lead.
