Smoke and flames rise after war planes belonging to the Israeli army carried out airstrikes over Gaza City on August 18, 2020.

Israeli aircraft have conducted airstrikes on the Gaza Strip for the 8th consecutive night.

Israel claims the raid was in response to a rocket that was fired from the besieged enclave.
