Sevilla have secured their ticket to the quarterfinals after defeating AS Roma 2-nil at MSV Arena in Germany.
Sevilla got on the scoresheet just 22 minutes into the match, when Sergio Reguilon fired the ball home from inside the box, after a great sol run.
Sevilla continued to hit the bar and finally found the second on a rapid counter attack in the dying moments of the first half, with Youssef En Nesyri burring the ball into the bottom left corner.
Both teams traded balls in the second Half, but Sevilla held on to seal their place in the last 8.
Julen Lopetegui’s team will face Wolverhampton in the next round. Sevilla have won the title four times so far with their last triumph back in 2016.
