Firefighters ‘were denied access’ to the Chinese consulate in Houston, Texas, says assistant fire chief Ruy Lozano, when they tried to enter the facility, on reports that documents were being burned in trash cans in the courtyard, according to local media.

The United States ordered China to close its consulate over accusations of spying operations.
