Fake drugs ravaging humans

In order for a thriving counterfeit industry to succeed, it must have a model industry in which to follow, otherwise there would be no point faking items that are not wanted.

Take the lucrative film industry for example. Bootleg DVD's probably make more money than the real thing across the world. So to what industry does the counterfeit drugs and medical equipment market look up to?

For a start, the mind bending sum of 1.5 Trillion Dollars per year income for the year 2023.Now as mentioned earlier, the fake industry brings in some 33% of this figure. For many people, the right to have medical insurance is a privilege around the world, yet it does only account for the minority few, or for those who have a solid social support state that provides free health care, and even then, the service is limited.

The question remains an unanswered mystery as to why diseases such as cancer have not been cured systematically such as smallpox and other treatable diseases. The answer?Money. Should the likes of Roche and Pfizer find the cure, for example, one simple pill, how would they make money in the long term? It is comparable to a battery producer making a battery that never runs dry it simply, and very sadly, makes no economic sense to the MNC's like Roche, Pfizer and Johnson and Johnson, who cleary yield more greed and power, over morals, ethnics and human compassion.

Prescription drugs are designed to fix ailments and symptoms, as well as preserving life in some cases. However, the multi-billion dollar industry comes with a dark side, as many people are addicted to prescription drugs such as pain-killers, sleeping tablets and antidepressants. In fact, all three have taken many a life, including some well-known celebrities.
