Tehran hosts an International conference on Palestine ahead of the international Quds Day. The aim of the conference is to keep Qods alive using the capacity of the elite, NGOs, and rallies, discussing the future of Israel and state terrorism against Palestine, as well as the strategies of the Resistance.

Speaking to Press TV, the organizers said the event is held in cooperation with the World Assembly of Muslim Scholars. The conference discussed topics such as Qods in ideology of Imam Khomeini and Ayatollah Khamenei, state terrorism, discourse of Islamic Resistance and liberation of the Holy Land, and the Deal of the Century, among others.

A number of scientific, cultural, and political figures from across the globe also addressed the gathering via video conference. While countrywide rallies marking the International Quds Day have been canceled in Iran due to the coronavirus outbreak, a series of special plans have been devised to mark the occasion.

This Friday’s rallies and symbolic protests will be held in low-risk counties and inside vehicles. The organizers are expressing hope that rallies marking this year’s event would be held with a strong participation of Muslims across the globe. Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei will also address the nation on May 22.
