It is beyond belief that the barbarian in the White House pretends to offer assistance to Iran while still imposing death-dealing sanctions on the nation and its people.
The US has nothing to offer Iran, as it has nothing to offer its own people. But, Iran has true friends who have come to its aid. Both China and Russia will stand by Iran's side. Even after suffering severe hardships for over two months, China has stepped to the plate and offered the world both valuable material and personnel assistance in battling the deadly coronavirus.
The US, on the other hand, hoards what little it has and steals from others what it lacks.
No one can take what the US says seriously. It's all smoke and mirrors, The US uses every trick in the book to project onto others its own failings and deflect attention away from its own crimes. Now it is for all to see as the pandemic is removing the scales from people's eyes.
The US is a house of cards, a colossus with feet of clay, an empire with no masks. Or as the Chinese say, a paper tiger. The saying, the chickens have come home to roost, is most appropriate given the predicament the US now finds itself in.
The US can't cope. It is too used to its imperial privilege. Countries like Iran and China can weather the storm, as they have been steeled in battle. The US, however, has been rampaging across the globe for decades, inflicting death and destruction on the world's people while wallowing in the lap of luxury
To turn a biblical phrase, "the sins of the father have been visited upon his sons." As darkness descends across America, the US is getting its just desserts.
