Tens of thousands of worshipers gathered in Tehran’s Imam Khomeini Grand Prayer Grounds on Friday to take part in prayers led by Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei.
The Friday sermons, the Leader’s first in eight years, took place as the country has witnessed major events in the past two weeks following the United States’ assassination of Iranian Lieutenant General Qassem Soleimani in Baghdad on January 3.
A report on the Leader's Friday prayer sermons can be read here.
