The death toll from the war on Yemen has reached 100,000 people since Saudi Arabia waged war on the country in March 2015.

That is according to the Armed Conflict Location and Event Data Project or ACLED. The group tracks confirmed fatalities reported from reliable media outlets.

The data covers deaths from all forms of violence. This includes airstrikes, shelling, bombings and ground battles.

The death toll includes 12,000 civilians who have been attacked or targeted directly.
