US President Donald Trump has posted a barrage of tweets against the impeachment inquiry into his alleged abuse of power as a key witness gives an “extremely disturbing” testimony against him.
Trump posted dozens of messages on Tuesday attacking top Democrats for their handling of the impeachment proceedings and questioning the credibility of Lt. Col. Alexander Vindman, a National Security Council official who testified against him.
In several of his posts he called on his followers to read a White House rough transcript of his July 25 call with Ukrainian President Volcanology Zelensky on which the impeachment case is being built up by the Democrats.
In the phone call Trump urged Zelensky to find "dirt" against Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden, and his son Hunter.
In another tweet, Trump attacked top Democratic leaders while rallying the Republicans for support.
Nervous Nancy Pelosi is doing everything possible to destroy the Republican Party. Our Polls show that it is going to be just the opposite. The Do Nothing Dems will lose many seats in 2020. They have a Death Wish, led by a corrupt politician, Adam Schiff!

In the meantime, Vindman testified against Trump on Tuesday.
The White House’s top Ukraine expert on the National Security Council appeared before Congress voluntarily under congressional subpoena.
He told members of Congress conducting the impeachment inquiry that he was on the phone call between Trump and Ukraine’s leader in which Trump asked for an investigation into the Bidens — and that he raised concerns about it.
Acting House Oversight Chairwoman Carolyn Maloney (D-N.Y) told US media she found Vindman’s remarks “extremely, extremely, extremely disturbing” as she left the deposition.
Maloney, who refused to answer any other questions about Vindman’s testimony, praised him for appearing despite the attacks from the White House.
Vindman is a Ukrainian American. He received the Purple Heart for his service in Iraq.
