Over motorsports and the World Rally Championship, Ott Tanak has taken the lead in the closing kilometres of Friday's second leg.
The Toyota driver was dominant on the last two special stages in Wales, as he moved clear of his Toyota teammate Kris Meeke and overcame a late technical scare to finish 3.4 seconds faster than Sebastien Ogier.
Meeke who had led after the morning stages, was 3rd quickest, 3.6 seconds adrift of Tanak with Belgian Thierry Neuville fourth for Hyundai and a further 4.8 behind. In the overall standings, Tanak is 17 points clear of Ogier who is chasing his sixth win in Britain in seven years.
