Schools have opened their doors to students and millions of school-goers in Iran have once again met their classmates and teachers after three months of summer break.

Passion fills the air as these elementary students meet their old friends.

Some students have missed the learning atmosphere a lot and could not wait to get back to school.

Students are not the only ones who experience these mixed feelings. Teachers are also excited to see these classes are once again noisy! But at the same time, they have concerns whether they can once again accomplish their teaching responsibility successfully.

Some 15 million students enrolled for the new school year across the country. Around 1-and-a-half million of them are first graders.

Besides the bright side of the new school year, there are concerns too. Parents complain about the soaring stationery prices, not to mention the daily traffic jams throughout the school year.

The first day of school to these kids is full of mixed feelings of excitement and anxiety. Excitement for making new friends and anxiety for having to be far from family. They wouldn’t regret it only if they took their first steps of success carefully.
