Protest shut down in Indian ruled Kashmir has entered its second month. India has maintained its security clampdown and communication blackout in the region; while people have maintained a closedown.

India has imposed a tough crackdown on Indian ruled Kashmir by arresting thousands including top politicians. In its move to strengthen the crackdown the government has booked a three time former chief minister and parliament member of Kashmir, Farooq Abdullah under the Public safety act.
