New heavy combat unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) Okhotnik

Russia’s Ministry of Defence released footage, showing its new heavy combat unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) Okhotnik performing its first flight at an undisclosed military airfield in Russia on August 3.

The combat drone’s first flight lasted about 20 minutes during which it reached an altitude of 600 meters (2000 feet), the defence ministry said. The UAV is designed by the Sukhoi Design Bureau and is equipped with optical-electronic and radio engineering technology.
