Senior diplomats from Iran and five major world powers sat down for talks in Vienna on Friday.
The meeting of the Joint Commission of the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action was described as a last-ditch effort to find a way to save the Iran Nuclear deal.
Representatives from Iran, the EU, Britain, Germany, France, Russia and China spent several hours at the table.
Following the session, Irans Deputy Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said only modest progress had been made during the talks. He said efforts of the remaining signatories to the nuclear deal to save the JCPOA have failed to meet Irans expectations.
