Journalist and political analyst, Elijah Magnier, says Friday’s mass rallies in major Yemeni cities show that people in the war-torn country are standing steadfast more than ever despite the ongoing Saudi aggression.

"Yemeni people are still very much alive despite all these years of killing and massacre and destruction and diseases that are devastating the country," he said.

Yemenis took to the streets of the northern city of Sa’ada to protest against the Saudi-led war on their country and to condemn the United States’ support for the aggression.

On the 17th anniversary of the “Scream in the face of the arrogance” protests, Yemeni people censured the US as well as other Western and regional countries supporting Saudi Arabia in the war on Yemen, carrying banners denouncing US policy in the region.
