US army tweet controversy
When the United States army posted what seemed like an innocent question on twitter about how military service has impacted its personnel, it was maybe expecting a flurry of patriotic replies.
The question was after all posted to mark Memorial Day, an annual holiday when Americans remember those who died while serving in the countrys armed forces.
The replies did indeed flood in, somewhere in the region of 11,000, but many of them were instead quite depressing to say the least.
