Iran dismisses US economic pressure
The US has increased what it describes as its maximum pressure campaign against the Islamic Republic of Iran. In the latest measures, the White House has cancelled sanctions waivers as it looks to bring Iranian oil exports to zero.
The waivers allowed several countries to continue buying Iranian oil for a limited period of time. However, the leader of Irans Islamic Revolution says the latest hostile acts by the US administration will hit a brick wall.
