Senator Kamala Harris was in third place with 9 percent, with other Democratic candidates including former House Representative Beto O'Rourke, Senator Elizabeth Warren, Mayor Pete Buttigieg, Senator Cory Booker, Senator Kirsten Gillibrand and Senator Amy Klobuchar in lower places.
This is the first presidential survey after a week during which several women complained that Biden had touched them inappropriately in the past.
The former vice president, who has not officially announced his intention to enter the Democratic primaries, is widely seen as the front-runner in the race,
Biden’s support has been steady as he mulls over a go for the Democratic nomination.
In the past nine weeks, Morning Consult has found Biden's support ranging from 29 percent to 35 percent.
Since the complaints emerged, Biden's overall favorability ratings have dropped by just 1 percent and he still has the highest favorability rating among all the presumed candidates.
Morning Consult's survey contacted 13,644 voters between April 1-7.
The margin of error is 1 percentage point.
