Iran’s deputy foreign minister is doubtful about the efficiency of Europe’s financial mechanism for bypassing US sanction on his country. Abbas Araghchi says the special purpose vehicle, that’s yet to be launched, cannot guarantee anything. however, he says Iran hopes that the trade channel, if set up, can usher in a new phase of economic relations with Europe.
