Looking to the National Hockey League, where the Dallas Stars have edged past the Boston Bruins 1-nothing in Dallas.

The match ended scoreless at the end of regulation, which was sent into overtime where Jason Dickinson buried a rebound to secure Dallas their win.

Elsewhere, the Los Angeles Kings beat the Chicago Blackhawks 2-1 in a shootout on Friday night at the United Center. The match was tied at 1-all at the end of regulation, and so was overtime, as the match ended in a shootout where the Kings came out on top.
