Israel conducts another airstrike near the Gaza Strip’s border fence, killing at least three Palestinians in their early teens.

The regime’s military staged the attack on Sunday, claiming that the targets were “apparently” carrying an explosive device, AFP reported.

"A short while ago, three Palestinians approached the security fence in the southern Gaza Strip, attempted to damage it and were apparently involved in placing an improvised explosive device adjacent to it," the military said in a statement. It added that the military’s "aircraft then fired towards them."

The forces are on alert near the Tel Aviv-blockaded coastal sliver against, what the regime calls, Hamas’ potential movements.

The military also regularly conducts airstrikes across the territory against alleged targets belonging to the Palestinian resistance movement.

It has launched three major wars against the enclave since 2008, killing thousands of Gazans each time, and shattering the impoverished territory’s already poor infrastructure.

Since March 30, the Gazans have been staging weekly rallies near the fence under the banner of “the Great March of Return” to uphold their right to go back to their homes in Israeli-occupied territories.

More than 200 of them have died during the Israeli forces’ attacks against the protesters. Only one Israeli soldier has died during the operations over the same period.
