Press TV, Kashmir

A complete shutdown has been observed in Indian-controlled Kashmir to protest the landing of Indian army in the region on this day, 72 years ago. As Press TV's Syed Ali Safvi reports, people have accused New Delhi of promoting the culture of violence in the region to strengthen its occupation. They say despite calling itself the world's largest democracy, India is denying them the peaceful political space by force.
