The United States and Canada reached a last-minute deal to replace NAFTA with a new trade agreement.
The new deal called, the United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement or USMCA, was agreed just before midnight on Sunday, a deadline set by Washington.
In a joint statement, Canadian and American representatives said the agreement will "strengthen the middle class, and create good, well-paying jobs and new opportunities for the nearly half billion people who call North America home".
