Israeli soldiers abuse Palestinians with semblance of impunity: Pundit

Israeli forces treat Palestinians in such an abusive way that it appears they are ordered to "cripple and maim" the oppressed people, says a commentator.

Mick Napier, from the Scottish Palestine Solidarity Campaign, told Press on Wednesday that “there is a nearly perfect sense of impunity for Israeli soldiers to abuse and even kill Palestinians not just in Gaza but also in the West Bank.”

“This is in the tradition of Israeli soldiers since the days of Yitzhak Rabin (former prime minister of Israel), when he ordered his soldiers to break their (Palestinians’) bones and to actually abuse, cripple and maim people.”

On Tuesday, some 40 Israeli soldiers raided a Palestinian house in the village of Beit Rima, located nearly 30 kilometers northwest of Ramallah, brutally assaulting 24-year-old Muhammad Zaghlul Rimawi al-Khatib, who died from his wounds later this day.
