One person was seriously injured during the demolition of a 12-storey building in Miami Beach on Monday morning.
Rescue crews and fire engines are seen at the site of the demolition. According to Miami Beach police, there was a valid demolition permit but no implosion permit.
Police said one person was transferred to Jackson Memorial Hospital after being recovered from the wreckage.
The cause of the incident is under investigation. However, Winmar Construction, the company responsible for the demolition called it a "construction accident".
