FIFA World Cup: Switzerland 2-1 Serbia
A late goal by Xherdan Shaqiri has secured Switzerland a 2-1 victory over Serbia in a World Cup Group E match, putting them in a strong position to go through to the knockout round.
Aleksandar Mitrovic gave Serbia a dream start headed a floating cross firmly past the keeper five minutes into the game.
Switzerland stormed back after the break. Granit Xhaka equalized when he picked up a rebound outside the penalty box in the 52nd minute. And Shaqiri grabbed the winner for Switzerland on a counter-attack in the 90th-minute.
