Two shocking errors in Poland’s defense helped Senegal seal the win. Poland defender Thiago Chonek stuck out a leg and deflected a wayward shot into the net in the 37th minute.

Then an unnecessary rush by the Polish keeper allowed M'Baye Niang to nip in and score into an empty net on the hour. Jekosh Kri-koviak pulled a goal back for Poland in the 86th minute but it was too little too late.
