The US Secretary of State has renewed Washington’s threat of quitting Iran’s nuclear deal if the agreement is not “fixed”.

Mike Pompeo made the remarks in the Saudi capital Riyadh days after he was confirmed to his new post. He claimed the 2015 nuclear deal has failed to moderate Iran’s conduct in many other areas. Pompeo was speaking a day after Iran blamed the West’s military intervention for the prolonged regional crises, in particular in Syria.
