Thousands of people gathered throughout Russia to remember the 64 people who died in the 'Zimniaya Vishnya' (Winter Cherry) shopping mall fire in Kemerovo on Sunday.

Hundreds of balloons were released simultaneously in Irkutsk.

More than 500 people attended the Field of Mars in St. Petersburg, where mourners left flowers, toys and lit candles for the dead.
