U.S. President Donald Trump removes Rex Tillerson as secretary of state and replaced him with current CIA Director Mike Pompeo, after months of speculation surrounding Tillerson's role in the Trump administration. Trump told reporters on Tuesday that he and Tillerson had disagreements over key issues including the 2015 Iran nuclear deal. Tillerson, on his part, said he’s “unaware” of the reason for his sacking.

In this edition of The Debate, Press TV has conducted an interview with Wilmer Leon, a political scientist and radio host from Washington, and Scott Bennett, a political commentator and former US Army officer from San Francisco, to discuss US President Donald Trump's recent decision to remove Rex Tillerson as secretary of state and replace him with current CIA Director Mike Pompeo.
