People are fleeing the Syrian Kurdish town of Afrin as Turkish troops and allied militants laid a siege there. Turkish military has besieged the town as part of an offensive against Kurdish forces, YPS, inside Syria that began almost two months ago. Ankara regards YPS as a terrorist group. Syria has called the aggression a violation of its sovereignty.
