US President Donald Trump took to his favorite medium twitter once again to mock the Oscars over the award’s low ratings, saying “we don’t have stars anymore in Hollywood-- except your president.”
Lowest rated Oscars in HISTORY. Problem is, we don’t have Stars anymore - except your President (just kidding, of course)!

The annual Academy Awards, commonly known as the Oscars, was hosted by Jimmy Kimmel this year. Kimmel, a frequent critic of Trump, fired back reminding the president of some of his own low ratings as president.
According to FiveThirtyEight, President Trump's current approval rating sits at 40.4 percent, with 54.3 percent of Americans polled disapproving of the job he's doing.
In a new POLITICO/Morning Consult poll Trump's approval rating has dropped from 46 percent last week to 43 percent this week.
Ratings for Sunday night's politically charged Oscars television viewership plummeted to an all-time low of 26.5 million people, dropping 19 percent from 2017. The 2008 Oscars ceremony, hosted by Jon Stewart, was previously the lowest-rated in history, with 31.8 million viewers.
Donald Trump constantly displays an aversion to Hollywood and its "elitism," despite a regular presence in the entertainment industry for the past three decades. Before he was president, Trump had also slammed the Academy Awards over a variety of issues including poor graphics, film selection and awards.
