Iran tells KRG crucial to preserve Iraq’s integrity

Prime Minister of Iraq’s Kurdistan Regional Government Nechirvan Barzani met with Iran’s President Hassan Rouhani on Sunday. During the meeting, Rouhani told Barzani that Iraq’s integrity was of utmost importance to Tehran. He also emphasized that the Islamic Republic backed a “united and integrated” Iraq, warning against attempts by certain foreign powers to deal a blow to the stability and security of its western neighbor.
