Athletes from five foreign countries to attend Asian Paraskiing Cup

President of Iran’s Paraskiing Association, Isa Savehshemshaki, says alpine and snowboard skiers from five foreign countries have already expressed their interest to participate in the 2018 Asian Paraskiing Cup.

Savehshemshaki said skiers from Belgium, Greece, Mongolia, Tajikistan and Ukraine have shown preparedness to attend the forthcoming tournament in Dizin ski resort, located about 70 kilometers north of the Iranian capital city of Tehran.

He added that snowboard competitions will be staged between January 29 and February 3, while alpine contests will be held between February 3 and 9.

Savehshemshaki further noted that six skiers will represent the Islamic Republic of Iran in the snowboard section, while ten others will compete in the alpine division.
