Catalonia's Parliament has reconvened Wednesday following the victory of pro-independence parties in a regional election called by Spain. The new speaker has vowed to end Spain's direct rule but he first needs to appoint a president. This comes as lawmakers are divided over claims by fugitive ex-president Carles Puigdemont to be reinstated.
