17th National Prison Theater Festival kicks off in Tehran

In the modern justice system, great emphasis has been placed on rehabilitating offenders to help them reintegrate into society. In Iran, an annual theater festival is held in line with in-prison rehabilitation programs designed to help inmates adjust to conditions outside of the prison once they are released.
