Dense fog caused by a cold wave continued to envelope parts of India on Tuesday, causing delays and cancellations at railway stations and airports.

Several flights and trains were delayed in the eastern state of Bihar early on Tuesday morning as fog caused visibility to drop drastically. With temperatures dropping to 9 degrees Celsius, passengers sat waiting for hours wearing thick layers of clothing.
