UN concerned by ‘dire’ humanitarian situation in Syria

The UN humanitarian chief has voiced concern about the dire situation in war-torn Syria. During a Security Council meeting, Mark Lowcock underlined the necessity of taking measures to deliver aid to an estimated 13 million Syrians who remain in desperate need of assistance.
