A tornado has ripped through a densely-populated area in Indonesia's East Java province, injuring 35 people and damaging more than 600 homes.
The tornado, with wind speeds of 70 kilometers per hour, carved a path of destruction in Sidoarjo area, hitting three villages, local media reported.
Videos posted on social media showed debris hurled high into the air as the column of air moved. This is the second time this year the city has been struck by a tornado.
