Afghanistan opium production jumps to record high

The United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime says the record level of opium production in Afghanistan is pushing the world toward uncharted territory. This has stoked fears that this will bring about a hike in the production of high-quality, low cost heroin for consumer markets across the world. From Vienna, Press TV’s Homa Lezgee reports.
